How To Install Mods in Minecraft Bedrock Edition

Addons come as .mcaddon or .mcpack files usually. Sometimes you get .zip files containing behavior and resource packs separately, which is more annoying. For .mcaddon or .mcpack files, the process is stupid simple. Download the file, tap it, Minecraft opens automatically and imports the addon. You’ll see a notification that the resource pack and/or behavior pack was imported successfully.

Android gives you more flexibility if things go wrong. You can manually access the games/com.mojang folder and move pack folders into behavior_packs and resource_packs directories yourself. Useful when the automatic import fails for some reason.
